the rules & application! [13 Jul 2006|02:01am] • Journal names may only comprise of your celebrity's full name. No extra words or numbers are allowed. AIM names must contain either their first or last name. • Disclaimers must be in place in your journal and website field. Also, check your "Comments on your journal" settings and make sure it reflects this. Check the boxes to minimize your journal's inclusion in search engines and turn off IP logging. Livejournal logs IPs by default and fewer people will interact with you if you don't change that. • We do allow overrides for any inactive character that has not updated in 3 weeks and is inactive on AIM as well as inactive commenting in communities and other journal entries. Overrides are to be determined by and are at the discretion of the moderators. If you are interested in overriding, please make sure you put OVERRIDE in the subject of your application. • You must update your journal every 4 weeks and have a recent friends only entry at the time you apply. There is no requirement as far as entry length goes. All we ask is that you're active with both your journal and the sub-communities, and use AIM as often as you can. Entries must be visible for them to count. And you must run the friends tool and post your introduction within three days of being accepted or you will be removed. • Every member must make a character profile. The community as a whole decided that it would be a good way for members to learn the basics of your character, request scenes, and ask OOC questions if their celebrity is supposed to be co-stars or real life friends with yours. • Other than that, common sense applies: cut-tag large images and embedded music/videos that play automatically. Don't start a pregnancy storyline without mod approval, puppet without permission, steal entries or icons, write rape, incest or harm your celebrity unless it actually happens in reality. We do not currently accept family/friends of celebrities, internet celebrities, or people without a real claim to fame. If you're not sure about your celebrity, just ask and we'll let you know! • If your examples are on a different server, you can either PM them to us, filter them in your character's journal, or add marqueemod on insanejournal. If you choose to add us on insanejournal, please make sure to tell us which journal you added us with.
